Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel by Nora Roberts. When multimillionaire cattleman Jack Mercy dies, his three daughters - half sisters and strangers to each other - discover their father has one last request. According to his will, the trio must live on his ranch together for one full year in order to claim their inheritance. This forced family reunion causes tensions to flare but the women eventually come together when they find themselves up against some of their father's old enemies who are out to sabotage them. With the help of a neighboring rancher, who was charged with overseeing the operation, the women learn valuable life lessons and the true meaning of family.
