Plot Synopsis

Remake of the 1996 NBC made-for-TV movie that tells the story of a naive college student who falls in love with a charming pathological liar, credit-card scammer and murderer. When her loving mother tries to break up the abusive relationship, the possessive psychopath abducts the young woman and hides her in his cabin in the woods. Her distraught mother moves heaven and earth to rescue her tortured daughter. This is not your Lifetime movie of yesteryear. In this totally reimagined version, mom discovers that her college student daughter, Leah, is a lesbian and her girlfriend, Pearl, is a neck-biting vampire whose veracious blood lust knows no bounds. Oh, and Pearl hangs with a nest of erotic, revenge-seeking lesbian vampires, aka nightwalkers. Yes, it's trampy, vampy and campy.
