Plot Synopsis

Second installment of the "Murder, She Baked" franchise, based on the Hannah Swensen Mystery Series by Joanne Fluke. In Lake Eden, Minnesota bakeshop owner Hannah Swensen's holiday season takes a surprising turn when she finds a body at a local Christmas tree lot and winds up involved in a dangerous murder investigation. With the support of various friends and family, including her lively and manipulative mother Delores, Hannah puts on her sleuth hat and sets out to solve the mystery. Detective Mike Kingston is used to Hannah's meddling and must stay one step ahead in the investigation and keep her safe from a killer on the loose. It turns out the list of suspects who would have wanted to see the guy dead is a long one, from a bitter ex-wife to exasperated investors. But Hannah and Mike are on the case, not to mention ready for a little Christmas season romance, as they race against time to track down the killer and save the Christmas season.
