Plot Synopsis
Based on the CBS series. Novelist turned sleuth, Jessica Fletcher, discovers a shocking family secret that leads her on a journey to the deep South to uncover the shrouded details surrounding the death of a slave who was killed in 1860 by a mob who accused him of murdering a white plantation owner. Along with an ancestor of the murdered man they search for clues in the present to discover who really committed the crime.
