Plot Synopsis

Based on the book by Mararet Moorman. When her mother dies a New York city art magazine editor must take care of her mentally ill sister. Always torn between love for her sister and embarrassment at the behavior brought on by her schizo-affective disorder, she tries to take greater responsibility without letting her needy sister dominate her life. They both experience valuable life lessons and learn to live independently while still remaining a close, loving family.
