Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel by Johann Wyss. A family sets out to sail from Singapore to Australia but are soon attacked by pirates, who have secretly planted treasure in the boat's hull. During the chase the family is shipwrecked on a deserted tropical island. They turn the jungle in to a home-- but their peaceful interlude is disrupted when the pirates return. Using their ingenuity, they make a plan to defend themselves.
