Plot Synopsis
In 1994, Maggie and Reginald Green were vacationing in Italy with their two children when their 7 year old son Nicholas was shot in the head by highway bandits. When he was declared brain-dead, his parents overlooked their own grief and donated his organs to seven ill Italian patients. The Greens' selflessness and lack of bitterness astonished and galvanized Italy--making organ donation mandatory for all adults.
