Plot Synopsis

The birth of twin sons, one of whom has Down syndrome ignites a legal battle between the child's mother, who feels the baby would be better off with a couple who have devoted their lives to special-needs children, and her controlling, obsessive mother who wants to raise the baby herself. Determined to stop their daughter, the grandparents fight to gain custody of the little boy but the court eventually sides with the birth parents and allows the adoption.
