Plot Synopsis
A character study of the final years of outrageous Panamanian General Manuel Noriega. In 1989, wanted by the U.S. for drug trafficking, Noriega takes refuge in the Vatican Embassy. But before giving himself up to the surrounding U.S. troops, he demands a priest hear his confession. Recounting his life story he reflects on his past including his rise to power and his fight to remain a political kingpin.
