Plot Synopsis

As New Orleans prepares for Mardi Gras, the entire town is in danger of being swallowed up by a giant sinkhole that is threatening to envelope the entire French Quarter. A geology consultant warns of the eminent danger but city bigwigs refuse to listen, only thinking of the most lucrative tourist event of the year. As thousands celebrate, the beleaguered scientist must risk his life to keep the area from collapsing into a deadly abyss.
