Plot Synopsis
A professional pickpocket and her adopted her 6 year-old niece get nabbed on Christmas Eve by a wannabe songwriter moonlighting as a department store security guard. Given the task of watching the pair over the holidays he takes the lawbreakers to his apartment. As he gets to know the lady he becomes increasingly smitten. He helps thwart plans by Social Services to take the child away and clears a path for a new beginning for them all.
