Plot Synopsis

Army Colonel Griff Carson has just returned home on a military leave and looks forward to spending time with his wife, Janet, and his two teenagers. He soon has trouble adjusting to family life as his wife is busy opening up a second bakeshop with a shady business partner, leaving him feeling like he's on the outside looking in. To help boost his spirits, she asks him to run her modest cupcake shop. He thinks she's nuts; he's a military man, not a cupcake decorator. But he quickly takes to the task after taking a military approach to the business. But he takes things too far and turns the little bakery into a boot camp, where no civilian is safe. An accident nearly causes the end of the business and threatens to tear apart his marriage. Janet begins to consider life without a man who seems unable to readjust to life outside the military. Realizing he might lose everything, he is determined to prove that he's prepared to change his behavior and become a full-time member of the family.
