Plot Synopsis

Heiress Anne Scripps Morell, alone for the first time after divorce, marries a man 10 younger whose violent behavior soon becomes apparent. Her daughters are horrified to see their mother's life degenerate into a nightmare of abuse and terror. They try to help, but on Jan. 1, 1994 they find her bludgeoned body and her husband's car abandoned on a NY bridge. His body is eventually discovered 3 months later in the Hudson River.
