Plot Synopsis
When lighting strikes a 747 jetliner killing the pilots, the malfunctioning autopilot takes control, sending the plane perilously back and forth across the country. The 350 passengers panic while a senior flight attendant and a movie star attempt to override the autopilot by using a laptop computer. Meanwhile, the head of air traffic control in NY, the U.S. Air Force and the FAA try to save the doomed aircraft.
