Plot Synopsis

In the 1960's, an idealistic young priest at a Catholic high school in segregated New Orleans inherits the job of coaching the basketball squad. He soon ignites the spark of the Civil Rights movement when he organizes a game between his own undefeated black team and an undefeated prep school team from the white community. He must overcome the fears and prejudices of the city's residents--and forever change the established social order.
