Plot Synopsis
The inside story of how in 1965 the ''best and the brightest ''advisors in the Lyndon Johnson administration counseled the President to escalate the Vietnam war and how these same advisors couldn't figure out a way to end the war once it became clear that their strategies had failed. Embroiled in a war that divided the country and realizing his ability to govern the nation had been crippled, LBJ decided not to seek reelection in 1968
