Plot Synopsis
In 1991, Joanne Jensen, a Naval Criminal Investigation Service civilian attorney investigates the disappearance of Captain Shirley Russell whom she believe was murdered by her abusive husband Robert. Her persistence leads to the first successful prosecution is the U.S. whereby a defendant was convicted without the recovery of a body or other physical evidence. Discovered on Robert's computer was his ''26 Steps to Murder Your Wife'' which eventually led to his conviction.
