Plot Synopsis

Lynn Saffer, a wife and mother and property manger, finds her life turned upside-down when she is arrested for racketeering. Convinced that a jury will understand her honest mistake, she refuses a plea bargain, but they are unsympathetic and sentence her to ten years. She is soon confronted with cruel treatment and sexual abuse by the male prison guards. With the help of her husband and lawyer she wages a war to expose the brutal conditions-- which eventually leads to an investigation, her release and the firing of the state prison administrator and 22 guards.
