Plot Synopsis
In St. Petersburg, Russia charlatan-prophet and self proclaimed healer Grigori Rasputin, comes to the aid of hemophiliac Prince Alexei, son of Czar Nicholas II and Alexandra. He soon becomes spiritual adviser to the royal family but the revolutionaries and nobles alike become resentful of the alliance between the Romanovs and the ''mad monk'' which eventually leads to their executions.
