Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel by Mary Higgins Clark. A young mother who blames herself for the death of her baby reunites with her husband after a year in a mental hospital. The couple spend the summer in an old Victorian mansion at a seaside resort which is rumored to be haunted. While investigating the history of the house, she begins to hear the voice of her dead child. It is eventually revealed that an old flame of her husband is out to destroy her fragile mental state, in order to rekindle a romance with the husband.
