Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Gay Block & Malka Drucker. Two stories, ''Aart and Johtje Vos'' about a simple Dutch farming couple who harbor over 35 escaped Jews during the war, a situation that placed great strain on their marriage and their children. In ''Marie Taquet'', former army commander Emile and his pragmatic wife Marie rekindle their loveless marriage when they hide several Jewish children at their Belgian boarding school.
