Plot Synopsis
A sixty year old man whose two failed marriages and forced early retirement cause him to return to the quiet English village where he was a WWII bomber Pilot in the 8th U.S. Air Force. The 40th reunion of his squadron also brings him into contact with his old sweetheart , now a dress shop matron and a grandmother. Old passions are renewed and a family is reunited when he finds out that he has a granddaughter he never knew he had.
