Plot Synopsis
Rose Lloyd is in her late 40s and has been happily married for 25 years when her young assistant takes her job and her husband, who is a deputy editor at the same newspaper. Although decent and remorseful, he is determined to start a new life, and Rose must pick up the pieces. At first devastated, she begins to reflect on her life choices. She soon delights in her independance, gets in shape and begins an affair with her old lover.
