Plot Synopsis

A group of school friends go on a road trip through Ireland on a last fling before everybody moves on. Psyched to leave home behind for a while, the gung-ho gang of seven heads out into the Irish countryside in a decked-out RV. Along the back roads and scenic routes, they're seeing the real Ireland. But then during a stopover, a heated run-in with gypsies at a roadside fair takes a violent turn. They're warned they will all suffer dearly. Vengeance was promised, and it arrives swooping out of the clouds. Legend calls it the Simuroc, a gigantic bird of prey with a stabbing beak, talons like knives and an insatiable hunger for flesh. One of the group is soon killed, and the rest of them know it's not just a legend and that the dreaded curse of vengeance is real. Desperate, lost, and afraid, they know the last hope of survival for them is in the isolated old house they've come upon in the woods. One by one they realize it is not a sanctuary and what the people who live in this backwoods abode want is as terrifying as the primal screech of the Simuroc. In a race against time they must escape this one-way ride into hell.
