Plot Synopsis
A troubled 17 year-old boy takes on the enormous task of restoring a Mercury Redstone Rocket in memory of his father, with the support of his ex-astronaut grandfather and a schoolmate. What began as a school science project becomes a race against time when a NASA emergency leaves the space shuttle and its crew in peril. With the only rocket ready for immediate launch, the teen holds the key to the emergency rescue mission.
