Plot Synopsis

Laid back Los Angeles private detective, Jim Rockford, investigates the death of a waitress friend who worked at his favorite hang out and was murdered after stalking a mobster she suspected of killing her son. He solves the case when he discovers that the bartender at the same restaurant was stealing large sums of money in a food wholesaling scheme and killed both mother and son when they uncovered his artifice.
