Plot Synopsis
Ron Clark, a young idealistic teacher leaves his small North Carolina hometown to teach a sixth grade class at a tough, New York City public school in Harlem. Through his highly innovative teaching techniques and undying devotion to his students, Clark helps his low-level, at-risk students raise their test scores and reach their full potential. As a result of his achievements he is awarded Disney's prestigious Teacher of the Year Award.
