Plot Synopsis

At the Democratic National Convention, the Gov.of Michigan is poised to become his party's presidential nominee. The power elite want him to support their choice for vice-president and back off the issue of campaign finance reform-- or lose their financial support. While he wrestles with the decision of who will be his running mate he must contend with the circus-like atmosphere that surrounds him, from Hollywood to Washington. He shocks political insiders when he decides to buck the system, choose his own VP, and stay true to his idealistic dreams about how American should be run.
