Plot Synopsis

When Santa Claus suffers a case of amnesia just days before Christmas, a cynical TV reporter--who grew up disillusioned with whole holiday tradition-- thinks his car hit a homeless and nameless old man. The reporter, smelling the perfect ''feel good'' story for his news broadcast, gets the man a job as a department store Santa and launches a citywide search to reunite the man with his family. But his girlfriend's young son suspects the man is exactly who he's been hired to be.
