Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Morton Kondracke. Political journalist Mort Kondracke and his brash therapist/activist, wife Milly build their lives and careers together in Washington, D.C. The loving strong-willed partners find their lives shattered when Milly, at the age of 47, is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Their love grows even stronger as they battle against the debilitating effects of the disease and become passionate advocates for increased government funding for medical research. As her illness progressed, his life became committed to saving his beloved wife.
