Plot Synopsis
Based on the book '' The Scarlet Pimpernel of the Vatican'' by J.P. Gallagher. In Nazi occupied Rome during WWll, Vatican official Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty helps hide escaped allied POWs. Although under constant surveillance by the S.S. commander, he is able to out fox his nemesis and save thousands of lives.
