Plot Synopsis

The world's most famous Great Dane first appeared on television screens on Sept. 13, 1969 and for the first time in history, the never-before-told story of how the Mystery Inc. gang first joined forces are revealed in this live-action/CGI TV Movie. In this prequel a suspicious haunting plagues Coolsville High School, and everyone is accusing Fred, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy of playing a spooky prank. Suddenly, the school athlete, the science fair-winning brainiac, the drama beauty and the school misfit must band together to clear their names. With Shaggy's newly adopted pound pup Scooby-Doo tagging along, the mismatched quartet soon discovers they have more in common than they originally thought. As they search for clues, this newly formed gang of teenage sleuths soon winds up solving the school's biggest mystery.
