Plot Synopsis

Los Angeles attorney Samantha Simms receives a call from former boyfriend Brad, a detective in Seattle, who tells her that her estranged sister, Brenda, is being charged with murdering her boyfriend, Trevor. She quickly takes a leave of absence from her firm and returns to her former hometown to defend her younger sister. When Brenda goes missing, Samantha finds out that she is not the event planner she claims to be but instead is a high priced escort who is being blackmailed by a group of very powerful people to keep her mouth shut about who really killed Trevor. She now must race against time to find Brenda. Joining forces with Brad, she uncovers a plot that involves a senate candidate and his wife. The more digging she does, the closer she gets to the truth that ultimately puts all of their lives in danger.
