Plot Synopsis

Based on short stories from ''Cruising Paradise and ''Motel Chronicles'' by Sam Shepard. A struggling rancher, strives to emerge from the shadow of his harsh upbringing and make a better life for himself and his family. When his business ideas falter, he is afraid that he is going to lose his wife to another man and set a bad example for his son. Inadvertently, he begins to drive a wedge between himself and the two people he loves most. Together, they must decide how to bridge the gap among them and face the consequences of unrealized dreams.
