Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by John Knowles. In 1942 at a New England prep school two roommates, an introspective intellectual, and a charismatic star athlete develop a complex friendship that brings out the best and worst in each other. Their unspoken rivalry causes one of the boys to push the other out of a tree, which ultimately leads to disastrous emotional and physical consequences for both boys.
