Plot Synopsis
They ramped up the camp in this highly entertaining, sharky malarkey sequel to the 2013 Syfy television movie, "Sharknado." Fin Shepard and his ex-wife April are on their way to New York City to discuss April's new Sharknado book and visit Fin's family. As sharks overrun their plane (in the not-to-be missed first 10 minutes), they are forced to crash land at JFK airport. A little later, Fin gets a frantic call from his sister Ellen who is stuck on Liberty Island with her daughter Moria and friend Polly. Ellen begs Fin to go find her husband Martin and son Vaughn, who are at a Yankees game, before the freak weather system hits. Torn, Fin leaves April at the hospital and finds his brother-in-law and nephew just before sharks overwhelm the stadium. Forced to escape on foot, they begin the dangerous task of getting to Trump Tower, where they are all supposed to meet up with Ellen. But with airborne sharks inundating the city, they must fight the beasts every step of the way. When Trump Tower proves to be unsafe, Fin, with chainsaw in hand, April and everyone else must concentrate their efforts on stopping the Sharknadoes before the storms reach the Empire State Building, killing them all and decimating the city. Cameo Appearances by: Robert Hayes, Judd Hirsch, Kelly Osbourne, Matt Laurer, Al Roker, Kelly Ripa, Michael Strahan, Andy Dick, Robert Klein, Sandra "Pepa" Denton, Richard Kind, Biz Markie, Downtown Julie Brown, Perez Hilton, and Kurt Angle.
