Plot Synopsis

Based on the book by Lawrence Naumoff. A lovable but irresponsible woman returns to her North Carolina hometown. When mom dies her sister informs her that she and her banker fiance intend to sell the farm. She refuses to let that happen and takes a job at the local textile mill, tries to settle down and falls in love with a factory worker. Her sister has a change of heart when she learns her greedy intended only wanted her for her acreage, so the farm stays in the family and all live happily ever after.
