Plot Synopsis
A young woman from a small town is raped and becomes pregnant, afraid to tell anyone, she is thought to be promiscuous by her father. She unwittingly marries her rapist and only uncovers the truth years later when their daughter is seriously ill, in the need of a kidney donor, and he is a perfect tissue match. While the transplant is successful the marriage is doomed. She finally confronts her anger and gets on with her life.
