Plot Synopsis
The Old Testament story of Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and later taken under the wing by Potiphar, the Pharaoh's Royal Executioner, who wants the young reader of dreams to interpret his wife Zulaikha's nightmares. He is soon banished to work on a tomb when he is accused of seducing the unhappy Zulaikah. He eventually becomes the Pharaoh's confidante when his dream-telling abilities bring prosperity to the kingdom.
