Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by Robert B. Parker. When a private detective is hired to clear a poor black kid wrongly convicted of murder, he finds himself the target of an accomplished professional hitman. With the help of his longtime partner, a man who lives on both sides of the law and his psychologist ex-girlfriend he is able to tell the good guys from the bad.
