Plot Synopsis
In 1999, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, 21year old PFC Barry Winchell falls in love with a beautiful transgendered nightclub performer, Calpernia Addams. Despite the growing animosity of his macho army roommate, Justin Fisher, who, ignites anti-gay sentiments in the barracks, Winchell and Adams continue their passionate love affair. Eventually the unbalanced Fisher goads another soldier, Calvin Glover, into brutally murdering Winchell. The two men are both found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.
