Plot Synopsis
Based on the Novel by Mary McGarry Morris. The ex-wife of an alcoholic husband struggles to raise her three kids in a small 1960s Vermont mill town. Tired and lonely she falls for a sweet talking drifter who moves in and soon begins spending her hard-earned money. Desperate to believe his good intentions, she refuses to listen to her friends who think this mysterious stranger is a sinister con man.
