Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel ''The Pork Butcher'' by David Hughes. A German ex-soldier, now a naturalized American delicatessen owner, decides to travel to France and return to the small French village where he was stationed during WW II--and fell dangerously in love with a young French girl. Accompanied by his estranged daughter he embarks on a journey of rediscovery only to uncover atrocities of the past as well as hidden guilts of the present.
