Plot Synopsis

Teenage Jimmy Hawkins is a walking encyclopedia of astrophysics thanks to his retired NASA astronaut father, Capt. Andy Hawkins. Jimmy gets the chance to win a seat on a forthcoming space-shuttle flight and jumps at it, even though his dad and mother are hesitant to let him go. He winds up securing the final spot to attend a special space camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, run by a former astronaut, Col. Roy Manley. Now he is one of The Warriors, an elite group of six highly skilled teens competing against a devious team known as The Titans. But soon, their intramural battle is eclipsed by a more urgent need as a real-life crisis unfolds onboard the International Space Station. Suddenly, a NASA commander has to count on these teens to rescue a group of astronauts and cosmonauts stranded 200 miles above the Earth. As the world anxiously watches, Jimmy and his teammates hatch a brilliant plan that just might save the day.
