Plot Synopsis
In 1868 Kansas, a recently married homesteader is kidnaped by a tribe of Sioux Indians who seek revenge for recent attacks by Gen. Custer. As her husband and the U.S. Army desperately search for her, a proud Lakota warrior begins to fall for the beautiful pioneer maiden. Although she refuse his overtures, she gradually adjusts to her new life--and begins to feel a deep connection to him.
