Plot Synopsis

A tanker pilot who, works fighting forest fires, haunted by past demons, is forced to confront his fears when a superfire in the Oregon woods kills a crew of smoke jumpers and threatens to destroy the city of Portland. Although grounded for his past actions, he disobeys orders and flies into the flames to drop a fire retardant bomb, saving the lives of millions and regaining his self-esteem.
