Plot Synopsis

"The Devils", an eclectic group of extreme sports junkies, set out on their annual adventure of jumping from off-limits cliffs in Tasmania, Australia. They land their helicopter at the top of a restricted cliff in a nature preserve, where they intend to jump, one at a time, only pulling their shoots at the very last minute. The first member of the group makes his jump, loses control of his equipment and plummets to earth, crashing through a hidden cave and attacked by some creature. The remainder of the group jumps and discovers their friend's gory remains in the cave. They are soon picked up and arrested by three rangers, who have been tracking their illegal jump. The group begs the rangers to believe their story and get them out of there before whatever ate their friend returns for them. But they are too late. The ranger's jeep is attacked, and one of the rangers is dragged into the woods. Another ranger, Alex, believes what is chasing them is some kind of souped up Tasmanian Devil -- a flesh eating creature that is indigenous to the area. But this one is some prehistoric breed, bigger and more aggressive by far than the ones known to exist. They now must find their way out of the woods before they all devoured.
