Plot Synopsis
When her husband Edgar Rosenberg commits suicide in 1987, comedienne Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa try to deal with their grief, anger and resentments which eventually destroys their mother-daughter relationship. In time, they both learn to trust and love each other again, bringing them closer together.
