Plot Synopsis
Based on Shakespeare's classic story. During the Civil War a benevolent Mississippi plantation owner is exiled on a bayou island with his daughter and a black slave after being forced out by his dishonest brother. Becoming powerful in voodoo, he uses his skills to battle his murderous sibling. He also must keep his daughter from marring a Union officer while trying to survive the escalating war.
