Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by Jodi Picoult. The parents of a 14-year old girl find their idyllic small-town lives thrown into turmoil when their daughter accuses her boyfriend of rape. When the boy later dies in an apparent suicide, the family finds themselves the center of a murder investigation as the truth of the teens story becomes suspect. As the investigation progresses the family begins to crumble under the pressure, as their hidden pasts and dark secrets are revealed.
